The
long awaited
"MAXWELL HOUSE "
Named by my
old friend JW SLYDE, is a group of song , all around the theme of
PRISON . Each song telling a story of the time I spent some 25 years
ago. I didn't kill anyone as JOHN PRINE says ,I was just trying to
have some fun , and
make some quick cash. Didn't happen!!!
I promised my father years ago I would not release these song until my children were grown and he was dead. Both are true today and it's time. I am very proud of these songs and certainly feel as though I earned them. MAXWELL HOUSE will be recorded in my studio at home and mixed elsewhere , but should be easier to complete. I will be attempting to steal some overtones and color from my dear friend GOVE SCHRIVNER. Another of the father figures of music to me. Music should be more easy listening as I attempt to tell the stories of my youth.
