FloraBama Saturday with My Hero Jimmy Lewis

Howie and I took turns serving the master Mr Jimmy Lewis as he served up one tremendous tune after another. The man is one of a kind. There is no other voice like the one of Jimmy Lewis

Howie Johnson

Former Lucky Dogg  guitar player is back with the Band in Bill Bailey’s absence .  Great to have Howie back in the area.  Howie will be seen doing several other things while in the area , but will secure a place with the Lucky Doggs  until things either pan out with Bills Job or he has to return back to North Carolina where he is from.

Everyone make Howie feel welcome back in the area , he is a great player and a wonderful guy. A man that truly loves music.

Bill Bailey

For those of you who noticed Bill out of the line up this past week , Bill has taken a new very much needed job out on the base which during training has him working  Wed – Sun  3pm till 11pm.   Sort of kills his playing time. We hope to have Bill back as his schedule allows such an will keep you posted.

Meanwhile we will be using several faces from the past , most recently we used Luther Wamble  but will also be using Howie Johnson and even a few others such as Ricky Chancy and perhaps Donnie Skidmore.

Life changes and music moves on ! Bill will be greatly missed , but you can be assured the Lucky Doggs will continue putting out consistent and very good music.

Great Weekend for the Lucky Doggs

We had a chance to get pretty Artz at the Northshore Grill on Friday night, then we took off to Camden, AL to visit our old friends Pat and Diane at the Caravel.   To top the weekend off, we made a swing down to Mobile for Traders on Sunday then came home cold and tired!  A lot of fun was had by all !  It was great seeing everyone !
